About this service
A disagreement over land, a payment, or an agreement can be hard to resolve on your own. We review the facts and documents with you. We can explain whether discussion, an agreement, or a court case may be suitable.
What we can help with
- Land ownership and property disputes
- Unpaid money and broken agreements
- House rent and tenancy issues
- Preparing or responding to a civil case
Law in Nepal
Nepal’s Civil Code covers property, contracts, and other private legal duties. Court cases also follow civil procedure rules. Documents, dates, and the type of dispute help determine what action is available.
Common questions
About our services and office.
Do I have to go to court to settle a dispute?
Not always. Many disputes end in a written agreement between the parties. We explain what discussion, settlement, and a court case would each involve, so you can decide which suits your situation.
What documents do I need for a land or property dispute?
Bring the land ownership certificate (lalpurja), any sale or transfer deed, survey or map papers, and any notice you have received. Dates and written records matter, so bring whatever you have.
Someone owes me money and will not pay. Can you help?
Yes. Bring any written agreement, receipt, cheque, or message that records the debt. We review what you have and explain the steps available to recover it.
